We are seeking new Board members, including Chair of the Board, to join our existing Board of Directors, which provides support, advice, expertise, and ideas to ensure good governance and healthy practice.
We are looking for people who have experience and skills in the following areas:
finance
marketing
digital media
fundraising
artistic practice; or are themselves a practicing artist.
We want to remove barriers that may prevent people from accessing or participating in our work. For this reason, we encourage applications from individuals from groups that are underrepresented in the arts due to age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith or belief, education, or socio-economic background.
The successful candidates will have:
An understanding of Scottish theatre, with a strong interest in the performing arts
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Strong ability to work collaboratively
Knowledge of or interest in Company of Wolves work
One or more of the key skills we are looking for (listed above)
Previous Board experience is not essential.
Company of Wolves Board meets four times a year in Glasgow. In addition to attending meetings, Board members are asked to give an additional two days of their time over the course of each year towards assisting the company in its aims, and to attend any performances, work sharings or trainings provided to support the Board’s development or their knowledge of the company. Please note this is a voluntary position.
